A Nottingham woman has flown to Poland for dental treatment because she says she cannot afford to go to the dentist in the UK.
Sonja McCarthy, took the first flight on a new budget airline to fly from Nottingham East Midlands Airport to get two fillings done.
She travelled about a thousand miles to go for the appointment in Lodz.
Also on the flight were many Poles already working in the East Midlands or looking to get jobs.
Ms McCarthy said: "The return flight was £30 and the dental treatment itself £20, which is £50 and yet it's over £100 for the treatment alone in Nottingham and I can't afford that.
"I'm not scared of flying but I am a bit nervous of seeing the dentist."
