Mine history brought back to life

One of Nottinghamshire's last remaining monuments to its coal mining history has been awarded nearly £1m to bring it back to life.

Bestwood Winding Engine House in Bestwood Country Park will receive a grant of £963,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
