World bird expert to become MBE

An ornithologist from Northamptonshire working on trends in bird populations across the world has been appointed MBE in the New Year Honours list.

David Alan Stroud works for the Joint Nature Conservation Committee that advises government and organisations on ways to maintain and enrich ecosystems.
