Stab death no longer suspicious

The death of a man whose body was found with a stab wound at a house in Northamptonshire is no longer being treated as suspicious by police.

David Oldfield, 39, was found at his home in Winding Way, Thrapston, at about 0130 BST on Wednesday.

Detectives believe the man's single stab wound to the chest may have been self-inflicted.

Northamptonshire Police said an investigation continues into the circumstances leading to his death.
