Plans for 230 homes go to council

Proposals to build a 230 home development on a former allotment in Northampton are to go before the council next week.

Barry Howard Homes and Bovis Homes want to build the two to four storey homes on land off Lancaster Way.

The plans have gone to the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (WNDC) which is consulting Northampton Borough Council.

The council is being recommended to raise no objections in principle.
