Knife gang subject men to attack

A gang armed with a knife attacked two men in a Northampton street.

The gang of four targeted their victims at the junction of Hood Street and Colwyn Road, on Monday night.

One of the victims suffered bruising to his face during the attack, while the other had his clothes ripped, a police spokeswoman said.

Northamptonshire Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the attack, which took place at about 1715 BST, to contact them.
