Woman spots 'attacker' shopping

A 53-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after one of his alleged victims spotted him in a shopping centre.

The woman called police when she spotted the man at Weston Favell in Northampton at the weekend.

Officers arrived on the scene quickly enough to arrest the man.

After questioning he was charged with three counts of sexual assault relating to incidents in the town's eastern area in December 2007 and February 2008.

The man is due to appear before Northampton Magistrates' Court.
