Woman hurt in conservatory fire

A woman has been taken to hospital after a fire broke out at her Northamptonshire home.

The fire started in the conservatory of her home in Burton Latimer when a tea light set a blind on fire at the house at Pioneer Avenue just after midnight.

Firefighters gave the woman oxygen therapy before taking her to hospital for treatment.

The wooden conservatory was damaged by the fire, Northamptonshire fire and rescue service said.
