Speed camera shot in gun attack

A speed camera in Northants has been attacked with shots from a pellet gun.

The flash light lens of the camera, which is on the A43 close to the Green Man Inn, near Towcester, was damaged in the attack.

Northamptonshire Police said the camera was damaged at some time between noon on Sunday 10 June and 1130 BST on Monday 11 June.

Anyone who witnessed the attack on the camera or has information about the attack is asked to call the police.
