Armed man holds up travel agency

An armed robber held-up a travel agency in Northampton by threatening a member of staff with a gun.

The gunman demanded money from a woman working at the Bureau de Change counter at Yorks Travel in Markey Square on Monday. She was left shaken.

He was followed by staff as he escaped with cash but they lost him in the York Road area of the town.

A 29-year-old man was questioned in connection with the raid but was later released without charge.
