Cannabis factory found in house

Hundreds of cannabis plants have been discovered in a house following a tip-off to police in Northamptonshire.

More than 300 plants were found in four rooms in the property in Dalkeith Road, Wellingborough, on Wednesday night.

Police said chemicals were also seized and a forensic examination of the scene is taking place.

Det Insp Andy Nichols said: "This is a significant find and once again we are grateful to information received from a member of the public."
