Biker dies in three-vehicle crash

A motorcyclist has died in a road crash involving another a motorcycle and a pick-up vehicle in North Yorkshire.

The man was airlifted to hospital following the collision on the A59 near its junction with the A168 at Flaxby, close to Knaresborough.

North Yorkshire Police said it happened at about 0830 BST.

One man has been arrested in connection with the crash. Witnesses who saw the movements of the vehicles are being asked to contact police.
