Youths in court after fire death

Four teenagers have appeared in court charged with manslaughter after a 93-year-old woman died in a fire at her flat in Harrogate.

Yuen Har Ho died at Harrogate hospital on 20 December after spending seven weeks in intensive care following the blaze in Newby Crescent, Jennyfields.

Two 17-year-old youths and two 14-year-old boys were remanded in custody by the town's magistrates on Wednesday.

They are due to appear again before the youth court on 28 January.
