Car is stolen during test drive

A man showing his Audi car to two potential buyers was told he would be stabbed if he didn't get out of the car during a test drive.

The seller was showing two men how the RS4 Estate car handled when he was threatened on Sunday night.

North Yorkshire Police said the car was driven between Weeton, near Harrogate, and Pool-in-Wharfedale during the test.

Officers said there was no evidence either man had a knife. Both were Asian and had Yorkshire accents, police said.
