Probe over fork lift truck death

An investigation is under way after a man was killed while operating a fork lift truck at a pet food factory in North Yorkshire.

Police said Michael Iain Johnson, 44, from Topcliffe, suffered fatal injuries while operating the vehicle.

The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the accident which happened at Wagg Foods near Thirsk.

Police said they were also investigating. An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
