Man subjected to sexual assault

A man has been subjected to a sexual assault as he walked through a bridleway in North Yorkshire.

The victim, described by police as middle-aged, was assaulted in the walkway between Springwell Lane and the road from Romanby to Yafforth.

Officers have appealed for information concerning the attack on Monday night to contact them.

The attacker is described as white, in his late 30s or early 40s, with slicked back dark hair and bushy eyebrows.
