Man killed in blaze at city house

A man has died in a fire at a house on the outskirts of Bradford.

Police and fire crews were called to the terraced property in Thornhill Place in Thornbury, on Friday night.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found the man as they searched the house but were unable to resuscitate him.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way, but West Yorkshire Police said they were not treating the death as suspicious.
