Flood warnings on county rivers

A flood warning is in force for a section of the River Wharfe in North Yorkshire after heavy overnight rain saw properties put at risk.

The Environment Agency's website said the warning applied to the Bolton Bridge area with homes and the cellars of the Devonshire Arms hotel at risk.

Further downstream, properties in the Addingham area were placed on flood watch early on Thursday.

The upper reaches of the River Aire at Gargrave were also on flood watch.
