Norovirus forces closure of ward
A Norfolk hospital has closed its ward for elderly people because of an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.
The Necton ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn is shut to new admissions and patient transfers because of an outbreak of norovirus.
The hospital has 10 patients and three members of staff with the virus.
Restrictions are in force on the 34-bed ward including no more than two visitors for each patient and no items such as flowers or balloons.
