A former RAF pilot who was critically injured in a plane crash in Norfolk has died in hospital.
Steve Shutt, 51, from Hingham, Norfolk, was hurt when his aerobatic bi-plane crashed into a crop spraying tractor.
A second man in the plane, 49-year-old Ian Davies, died at the scene. Mr Shutt had been in a critical condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
Andrew Hill, the tractor driver, escaped injury in the crash at Seething airfield on 29 October.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch is investigating the incident.
An inquest into Mr Shutt's death has been opened and adjourned by Greater Norfolk coroner William Armstrong.
Mr Shutt was a former Jaguar pilot at RAF Coltishall in Norfolk. He died from a brain injury.
The 49-year-old father-of-two, from Topcroft, Norfolk, was a media executive with publishing firm Archant.
Part of the investigation into the crash has centred on who was piloting the Christen Eagle II aircraft, which had dual controls, at the time of the accident.
