Teenager killed falling from HGV

A teenager has died after falling from the side of a heavy goods vehicle.

The youth, believed to be aged 18, is thought to have climbed onto the outside of the vehicle with another youth close to Unthank Road in Norwich.

He fell off between the city's Thickthorn roundabout and the Ketteringham junction at Station Lane as the vehicle travelled down the A11.

The other youth and the 59-year-old driver of the vehicle were both unhurt in the incident early on Friday.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed what happened.

There may have been a third male present in the Unthank Road area and police have urged him to contact officers.
