Pedestrian killed in road crash

A 78-year-old pedestrian has died in hospital after he was hit by a motorcycle in Norfolk.

The man was injured when he was struck by a Yamaha motorbike on the B1150 North Walsham Road, Sprowston, close to its junction with Edwards Road.

The accident happened at 0700 BST on Thursday and the man died in hospital early on Friday.

Norfolk Police said they were investigating the accident and appealed for witnesses to contact them.
