Horses injured in suspected arson

Three horses were whipped and a fourth had its mane cut off during a suspected arson attack at stables in Norwich.

Police and the RSPCA are investigating the incident on Bungalow Lane between the night of 7 August and 8 August.

Two stables were burnt down, a fence post was pulled up and a barbed wire fence had also been cut.

Sgt Rachel Cork said: "Any incident involving cruelty to animals will be taken seriously and we are liaising closely with the RSPCA."
