Body in river is missing teenager

Gary Ling A body recovered from a river in Norfolk is that of an 18-year-old who went missing in the middle of January, police have confirmed.

Gary Ling's body was found in the River Yare at Trowse, two miles south of Norwich city centre on Saturday.

He had last been seen on a night out in the city with friends on 14 January.

Norfolk Police said it was likely he had fallen into the river shortly after disappearing and his death was "a tragic accident".
