City library 'busiest in Britain'
A city library, rebuilt and restored after a disastrous fire in 1994, is being hailed as the busiest in Britain.
The Millennium Library in Norwich has welcomed 1.5m visitors in the last year and lent 1.1m books.
The library beat Birmingham, Leeds and Sunderland to come top in a study by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy.
A spokesman for the organisation said that nationally the number of visitors to public libraries has been falling.
