Drugs factory found in farmhouse

A 30-year-old man has been arrested after police raided a farmhouse in Norfolk and found a cannabis factory with hundreds of plants.

The raid on Tuesday morning was carried out at a four-bedroomed house in Fersfield Road, Kenninghall.

A police spokesman said the operation was large scale and sophisticated.

"The man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the production of a controlled drug and he is being held in custody for questioning," he said.

Sgt Warren With said in a statement the plants were growing in all but two of the rooms in the house and a great deal of lighting equipment was seized along with the plants.
