Motorist is killed in collision

A motorist aged in his 50s was killed when he was involved in a two-vehicle collision on a Norfolk road.

The victim, who was driving a green Fiat Punto, collided with a VW Passat as he pulled out of the B1146 onto the B1145, towards Fakenham.

The silver-coloured Passat was travelling towards Litcham when the accident occurred on Tuesday morning.

The Punto driver, a man from the Dereham area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Passat driver, a 39-year-old man from the Aylsham area, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
