Defendant on-the-run in Norfolk

Alan Piesse A 33-year-old man has gone on the run in Norfolk just hours after a judge deferred passing sentence.

Alan Piesse appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Friday to be sentenced for threats to commit criminal damage.

The sentence was deferred by a judge who released Piesse on licence with condition he travel immediately to a hostel in Lincolnshire.

But Piesse breached the conditions just hours later. He was last seen leaving a taxi on Ber Street, Norwich.

He was wearing a dark t-shirt with a Lacoste motif on the chest, blue jeans, white trainers and dark-blue zip up jacket. He was carrying a large black holdall.

Norfolk Police are warning members of the public not to approach him.
