A memorial service has taken place for a teenager who died after he was injured in an assault.
Michael Causer was wounded in an attack in Tarbock Road, Huyton, Merseyside, on 25 July and died eight days later.
Family and friends of the 18-year-old attended a service led by the Dean of the Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral the Very Reverend Justin Welby on Saturday.
James O'Connor, of Reeds Road, Huyton, and Gavin Alker, of Woodfall Crescent, Huyton, have been charged with murder.
The pair are due to stand trial on 26 January.
Mr Welby said "this has been a terribly hard time for the friends and family" of the teenager.
He added: "Our aim is that this Cathedral service will provide a dignified and fitting setting to remember and give thanks for Michael's life."
