Park 'contaminated' with dog mess

A vandal has emptied a dog mess bin and thrown the contents around a children's play area in Manx park causing a "serious health risk", police said.

The incident took place in the children's park at West View Terrace in Peel.

It is thought the offence was committed overnight between Tuesday at 2000 BST and Wednesday at 0700 BST.

Police said due to the fear of contamination Peel Town Commissioners had to clean the park.
