Two men bailed over mosque attack

Two men who were arrested in connection with an arson attack on a mosque in Chester have been released on bail.

The fire broke out at the mosque on Clifton Drive in Blacon shortly before midnight on Thursday 10 August.

A 20-year-old man from Chester was questioned on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life on Wednesday.

A 29-year-old man was questioned over allegedly stirring up race hatred on the same day. Both are due to report back to police at the end of October.
