Boxer involved in cyclist crash

Boxer Amir Khan has been involved in a collision in which a cyclist was injured in Greater Manchester.

Police were called to Moor Lane in Bolton on Sunday morning following reports of a crash between a Range Rover and a cyclist.

The 22-year-old cyclist suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital.

Police said witnesses at the scene have been interviewed, the driver was not at fault in the collision, and no further action would be taken.

The cyclist's injuries were said to be non life threatening and no one else was injured in the collision.

The 22-year-old boxer is in training for his WBA light-welterweight title fight in Manchester against Ukrainian champion Andreas Kotelnik.
