Search off as missing girl found

A 13-year-old girl whose disappearance sparked a major police search has been found safe and well.

Holly King left her home on Hollins Road, Medlock Vale, Oldham, at 0715 GMT but never arrived for classes at Blue Coat School.

A Greater Manchester Police helicopter and about 30 officers searched the area to try to find her, and checks were being made on her mobile phone.

A police spokesman said Holly had been found just after 1900 GMT.
