Man dies in double-decker crash

A man has died in a crash involving three cars and a double-decker bus in Greater Manchester.

Barry Britton, 48, of Highfield Road in Adlington, died at the scene of the crash on the southbound carriageway of the A6 in Blackrod, Bolton.

Four other people were taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them.
