Youth accused of toddler murder

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a two-year-old girl in Greater Manchester.

Demi Leigh Mahon was found with serious head injuries at an address in Liverpool Road, Salford, on 15 July.

She was taken to Hope Hospital and later transferred to Pendlebury Children's Hospital where she died two days later.

A post-mortem examination revealed she died as a result of a serious head injury.
