Detectives investigating the death of a 16-year-old boy, who was stabbed after attending a party in Manchester, have arrested two teenagers.

Conor Black was stabbed in the shoulder in Moston Lane, Harpurhey, on 16 August. He died on the way to hospital.

Police arrested two 16-year-olds - one on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and the other on suspicion of conspiracy to cause wounding.

Another 16-year-old, who cannot be named, is charged with Conor's murder.

He denied the charge at Manchester Magistrates' Court last month.

Greater Manchester Police said they were questioning the two youths.
