Six guns - including an AK-47 assault rifle - have been seized from a house in Manchester.
The weapons stash was found by police who raided a house in Keddleston Avenue, Longsight, on Thursday.
A homemade sub-machine gun, two Ingram Mac-10 machine guns, an Enfield revolver and an Urwin Dale self-loading pistol were recovered at the house.
Officers also seized 450 bullets, a crossbow, cannabis, and 150 ecstasy tablets. Two men have been arrested.
Haul 'a success'
They are being questioned on suspicion of unlawful possession of firearms and drugs, Greater Manchester Police said.
The guns will now be forensically examined.
Chf Supt David Keller said: "The recovery of such a major haul of weapons is a success not just for the force but for the people of Manchester, as we have stopped these guns from getting onto the streets and into the hands of people who would use them.
"We will continue to target those who use or carry firearms and the message is clear: 'If you possess these weapons, we will be coming through your door.'"
