Men arrested over death released

Two men arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in Rochdale have both been released without charge.

Detectives were called to Royds Street in the Turf Hill area of the town on Thursday evening following reports that a 40-year-old man had been found dead.

Police are no longer treating his death as suspicious. Post-mortem examination results proved inconclusive so other tests will be carried out.

The two men, aged 26 and 36, have been released from custody.
