The family of a 16-year-old boy who died after he was shot in a betting shop in Manchester hope an internet appeal will catch his killer.
Louis Braithwaite was shot in the chest and stomach in William Hill in Mauldeth Road West, Withington, in January.
Louis's family have released home video footage of the teenager on YouTube.
Det Supt Keith Dillon said he hoped the internet appeal would "help prick the conscience of someone that knows something about Louis's death".
Louis died in hospital 12 days after the shooting, which happened on 29 January.
'Face reality'
Police believe the gunman, described as between 5ft 7in and 5ft 8in tall and dressed in dark clothing with his face covered, fired five shots inside the betting shop. He ran away from the scene with a second man.
Officers also want information on a black VW Golf, with a registration similar to WG07 YXY at the scene of the shooting.
Det Supt Dillon added: "Louis, like many people his age used the internet.
"His peers use the internet and I am sure that someone who knows what happened, perhaps even the gunman himself, will use the internet.
"This tribute and appeal could force that key person to face the reality of what has happened.
"His family have shared intimate home videos to use in this appeal, and I am hoping it will reap the right results."
