A teenager has been shot during an incident in a flat in Manchester.

Detectives were called to a flat in Glazebury Drive, Baguley, in the early hours of Saturday following reports of a shooting.

The victim, a 19-year-old man from Old Trafford, was taken to hospital where he is due to undergo surgery.

He is in a comfortable condition and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
