Investigation into fire at mill

Fire crews are investigating the cause of a blaze at a disused mill in Miles Platting, Greater Manchester.

At the height of the fire a total of 40 firefighters were tackling the blaze on Livesey Street, which broke out on Saturday night.

The ground and first floors of the mill, as well as the roof, suffered fire and smoke damage.

Firefighters succeeded in stopping the flames from spreading to a nearby wood storage yard.
