Tattoos are clue to injured man

An unidentified man with distinctive tattoos is in a critical condition after being found unconscious with serious head injuries.

The man, who is around 35, was found in Back George Street, near the Seven Oaks pub in Greater Manchester's Chinatown at around 0600 GMT on Sunday.

It is not known whether he fell or was attacked.

Police said he has a number of tattoos relating to Glasgow Rangers, Ulster and Belfast football club 'Linfield'.

The man is white, slim built with blue eyes and has a recently shaven head.

He was wearing a light blue long sleeved Ben Sherman shirt, a Glasgow Rangers light blue t-shirt underneath it, a pair of blue Wrangler denim jeans, and black Clarks shoes.
