Cannabis plant Police have uncovered a cannabis factory in south Manchester.

Officers raided a property in Woodhouse Lane in Benchill, Wythenshawe, after reports of a strong smell of marijuana in the area.

They found more than 300 plants along with a quantity of hydroponic equipment, used to cultivate cannabis.
