Car woman death 'not suspicious'

Detectives are no longer treating as suspicious the death of a 41-year-old woman whose body was found in a car in Greater Manchester.

Officers found the body in a silver Vauxhall Corsa on Beresford Street, Springfield, Wigan, on Tuesday evening. She was pronounced dead by paramedics.

The woman is from the Aspull area of the town but has not yet been formally identified.

Tests are being carried out to establish how the woman died.
