Arrests after two youths stabbed

Two teenagers and a 29-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two youths were stabbed in Greater Manchester.

Police said the pair, aged 17 and 18, were found with stab wounds to their chest in Belfield, Rochdale, late on Thursday night.

The 17-year-old is seriously ill in hospital and the 18-year-old was treated for superficial injuries.

Two youths, aged 16 and 17, and a man, 29, are due to be questioned.
