Man, 20, fatally wounded at party

Five people have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was fatally wounded at an east London house party.

David Cauchi-Lechmere was found with torso wounds after a disturbance at Henry Addlington Close in Beckton early on Saturday morning.

Mr Cauchi-Lechmere, from Tower Hamlets, died 13 hours later in hospital. A murder inquiry has been launched.

Five men, aged 17 to 20, are being questioned at various east London police stations.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Sunday.
