Two seriously injured in shooting

Two men are seriously ill in hospital after being shot in north-west London.

Officers and ambulance crews found the victims, aged 18 and 19, in Blackbird Hill, Neasden, on Saturday night suffering bullet wounds.

They were taken to separate hospitals and their conditions are not thought to be life-threatening. There have been no arrests.

Blackbird Hill has been closed to allow forensic examinations and drivers are advised to avoid the area.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police's gun crime unit are investigating.
