Teenagers accused of man's murder

Craig Brown

Two youths have appeared in court on murder charges after a man was shot dead as he returned from a Christmas Eve shopping trip in west London.

Craig Brown, 20, was shot after parking his car in Loftus Road, Shepherds Bush.

The pair, aged 15 and 16, were remanded in custody at West London Magistrates' court and will next appear in court on 27 January.

Detectives investigating violent crime in the black community said he was shot by two people as he unloaded presents.

A 24-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation has been released on bail to a date in January pending further inquiries.
