Man arrested over stabbing death

Police have arrested a man as part of a murder inquiry into a stabbing death at a house in south-east London.

An ambulance was called to a house in Canada Gardens in Lewisham, south-east London shortly after noon, police said.

An unidentified 32-year-old man was found with a stab wound and taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Police said they had arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He was also at the house and had suffered a minor head injury.

A third man, a 31-year-old, who was also at the house, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting the 36-year-old suspect.
