A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in a fight in north London.

Officers were called to reports of a disturbance in Havelock Street, Islington, on Friday afternoon, where they discovered the injured man.

The 30-year-old was taken to the Royal London Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead an hour later.

A post-mortem examination is expected to take place on Monday. No arrests have been made.
